What is a custom cloud server?
Which operating systems can I choose?
You can choose from Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, RHEL variants and Windows Server. You pick the operating system on the checkout page, after you choose your plan.
Can I run Windows on my server?
Yes. Windows Server is one of the operating systems you can choose at checkout, alongside Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux and Rocky Linux.
How is this page different from the Linux and Windows server pages?
The plans and servers are the same. On our Linux Servers page the Linux option is already selected for you, and on our Windows Servers page Windows is already selected and the license is included in the price shown. On this page nothing is selected for you, so you choose everything yourself.
Which control panel can I choose?
You can choose from cPanel, Plesk and Webmin on the checkout page, and some panels have an extra monthly cost that is shown there. Not every panel runs on every operating system, so pick one that supports the operating system you selected. If you are not sure which one fits, contact us before ordering.
Can I choose where my server is located?
Yes. You choose a region on the checkout page, for example the United States or Europe. The regions on offer, and any price difference between them, are shown there.
Do I need an account to place an order?
You create a free account as part of ordering. The options you picked are kept while you register or log in, so you come back to the checkout with your choices still selected.
How do ordering, payment and setup work?
When you place an order we review it and send you an invoice. You pay it from your client area, and we set up your server once the invoice is paid.
